About this service

Knotweed Removal UK is an introduction service. We don't survey, treat, remove or dispose of Japanese knotweed, and we don't issue management plans or guarantees. When you send an enquiry and agree to us sharing it, we pass it to independent specialists who cover your area. Using the service is free for you; specialists pay us a fee for each introduction.

Your agreement is with the specialist

Any survey, quote, treatment, guarantee or other work is agreed directly between you and the specialist you choose. We aren't a party to that agreement and aren't responsible for the specialist's work, advice, prices or conduct. Please check any specialist's credentials, insurance and terms before you instruct them. You're under no obligation to use any specialist we introduce.

We check that specialists are members of the Property Care Association before passing them enquiries, but we don't endorse or guarantee them, and we can't guarantee that a specialist will be available for every area.

Guides and tools

Our guides are general information, not legal, financial or surveying advice, and the law and guidance can change. Our photo check, RICS category checker and cost calculator give indicative results only. They are not a survey, an identification, a valuation or a quote. Always get a specialist survey before making decisions about a property.

Using the site

Please don't submit false enquiries, other people's details without their permission, or photos of people. Don't try to disrupt the site or misuse our tools. We may refuse or delete enquiries that break these terms.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the guides or tools, or from work carried out by a specialist.
